I've just completed a top end rebuild on my cb250 super dream 1979 now I'm having some issues.
When starting she struggles to start and I get a clunk every now and again when on the starter try's to start and ends in a loud clunk
Finally she starts but is very lumpy lots of white smoke and won't tick over without full choke and revs.
Timing is correct, cam chain is correctly tensioned and all rotates free on kick start although haven't managed to get it started on this yet.
Bike ran lovely before rebuild only did it as part of a project to give a new lease of life.
Really struggling now and don't really know what to do, thinking could the starter be getting stuck?
