Fitting a exhaust from another model.

Checking what's needed to fit a 4-1 gpz550h exhaust on a gpx600.
I will need weld on new flange collars on the pipes to suit and they are hitting the sump, but won't know how bad till the flange is sorted.
I think I'm on a win for my cafe racer.

I sat the muffler on just to see the effect before removing the system.

Looks like you may be able to remove a relatively small amount off the sump fins to get a little more wriggle room.

I am hoping that is all I need to do. I won't really know till I modify the mounting flange and once torqued up then I will really know.
