Frame cutting

This may be a dumb question, but here it is anyways.
I cut the back of the frame of my CB350 off (the part where the passenger part of the seat sits and where the rear fender/ turn signals get mounted). Can I get away with not welding a piece of metal across the back? In other words the frame is not going to just fall apart or anything if I ride it like this right?

By doing that you'll find that on sunny days the bike will pull hard to the left and on cloudy days, the bike will pull and to the right...

the simple answer is no.
The bike isnt going to fall apart, but without that brace its going to sway and flex something awful. Think going around a turn a little fast and the rear of your frame starts to sway and jiggle and shimmy, and then you end up in the ditch.
