8) Hey whats upp Dudes and gals... I just want to tell you all that im a real noob in the Motorcycle business. Im just 16 years old and I started out by watching the movie " The Wild One" and once I saw that... I fell in love with Bikes. My older Brothers have bikes too.. they also influenced me into making my own cafe racer. But anyways Just a few days ago it was my birthday..and Guess what I wanted... A Bike!!! sooo my Dad gave me a free 1970 Yamaha Rt1 360cc! ;D .....

This is what im dealing with every day after school... I work on it untill its time to go eat..hehehe...

Welcome to DTT, Zorro. Your bike is a diamond in the rough for sure. But I am sure you'll do her up nice. When you get going, start up a build thread so we can follow your progress.

Thanks Chris. Yeah this is very cool bike but in the worst condition.... it has compression and the brakes and gears work so that's the good part. The thing that sucks is that it didn't come with a title.ohh yeahh it didn't come with a key either.. but every thing seems good to replace. I"m really looking forward in customizing my seat..

Welcome to DTT. The seat is the last thing you should be worried about! Hahaha... Where exactly are you located. Might be some cool members nearby who can give ya a hand.

hahahaha yea the seat should ne the last thing on my mind but dang it looks pretty fun to make one though.. and I live in the western slope of Colorado... maybe some DTT members could hook me up with some pointers or something..

For the past few days I have been cleaning out the covers inside and out..

This is one cover that i clean... I think its the mechanism to change gears...

I didnt clean this one yet because im wondering if its bad to take out of the motocycle... I might need a rebuild kit for it.. To make the Moto run do you have to buy a rebuild kit for it...?
