Been Around the Block
Hello all,

I found my way here through the TriumphRat.net forums, and I am really impressed with all the great info floating around in here.

I recently purchase a 1976 cb750f super sport, and it is making it's way from this:

to something a little more presentable. Removing the Windjammer went a long way towards making that happen ;D

This is my first real project bike, and I'm looking forward to picking your collective brains for tips, trick, and general knowledge.

All the best,
Matt

Ur gonna have a lot of fun with that project...
I have some extra rear disk brake parts that you might find difficult to your hands on. Let me know if you need anything!

cheers
N

Thanks for the welcome, and the offer on the brakes. I will let you know if I need them. As of right now, the brakes seem to be in surprisingly good condition.

Your bike look great. That is the direction I am headed. I have a ways to go, (I am currently sorting the wires upfront and looking at headlight options) but it is getting there. Are those your stock headers?

One other question for you about your air filters. Is there a big difference between the K&N cones, and the cheap ebay cones. I assume that build quality is the major difference, but is there a major performance issue? Just wondering.
