The rear is a Firestone Deluxe Champion, they are remanufactured by Coker Tire from a design intended for cars in the 1940-50's. They are worthless on a motorcycle for anything other than looks, if you like the looks. They are a poor performing tire on a bike.

They're Avon Speedmasters. Slightly better than yhe aforementioned Firestone repops, but still pretty low on the list when it comes to performance. Pretty shitty in any wet conditions and wobbly in corners.

Gentleman thank you guys very much for the timely response and the insight on the performance of the tires.. being somewhat new to the café world, I definitely wont be sacrificing safety and performance for aesthetics. again thanks to all that responded!!

Possibly check out Dunlop K70s or Heidenau's classic range (K34 etc) for a vintage-look block-tread-but-higher-performing tire which is far more appropriate to a cafe racer than a 1940s tire anyhow.

Not necessarily gonna match the latest and greatest, but the latest and greatest designs often can't be found in classic sizes anyhow.

They all look the same when your moving...

So go for the one that performs the best.
