Help me ID these forks

I picked these up from Craigslist really cheap. The seller couldn't remember the exact year. I have a chart, but using a tape measure and a converter, my measurements aren't quite exact enough to narrow it down.

Here's what I know:

GSXR 1000, either '03-04 or '05-06. My very rough measurements come out to be 720-ish mm long, but both versions had a 720 or 730mm fork, so that doesn't tell me much.

Radial brakes and 4 piston calipers, but again....al four years had that.

Top and bottom O.D.'s are same for all for years.

The offset is either 32mm ('03-04) or 30mm ('05-06) and I can't trust my measurements enough to decide. I'm using straigght edges, calipers, rulers, tape measures, etc. and trying to measure center of steering stem to center of forks. I just can't be accurate enough to tell the difference between 30 and 32mm.

The only reason it makes a difference is that I need to source rotors for my swap. The '03-04 used a 300mm disc. The '05-06 used a 310mm disc.

Any help here?

Looking at eBay, most of the 05-06 calipers are black and most of the 03-04 calipers are gold. But not all.

Does that really tell me anything?

The only thing you can do to be sure is very easy and will cost nothing.

1. Take a piece of cardboard and draw a circle of 310mm. Do it exact.
2. Make a hole in the EXACT middle as big as the axle.
3. Put the axle with cardboard disk in the forks.
4. Mount a caliper over the cardboard as if it was a disk.
5. Does the cardboard turn freely? 310! Does is get stuck on the caliper housing? 300!

What year is 300mm and what year is 310mm? Also, why not just use a tape measure? That five mm difference should be easy to measure.

The good thing about those radial calipers is that if you want to use larger discs you can space the calipers out by simply putting spacers / washers under the mounting bolts.

Not that I can see. My rough measurements from axle center to where I think the rotor would fit in the caliper lead me to believe it's the earlier 300mm model.

Possibly, but he has 1000 forks and just needs to fit them and work out the geometry, brakes, etc etc.

Apropos of nothing I bought a project bike with "matching" GSXR forks wheel and disks. When I bolted them together I found the idiot had bought the wrong rotors for that year of forks. It happens. Fortunately they can always be sold if they don't work.
