Long and short... My "new" driveway is uneven and full of potholes, and I'm an idiot. I laid the bike on it's sidestand and (since it was warming up) didn't shut it off and put it in gear. The bike rolled out the front tire and whammo, down on it's side (luckily onto the lawn)... HOWEVER, the f'ing clubmans weren't adjusted properly, evidently, and the left-side controlls made a nice sized dent in the tank... nice sized enough that I don't feel I can pull and fill it.
I'm looking for either a tank for a 650 seca, or a nice cafe replacement... my only issue is that I don't want to have to re-upholster the seat so it has to end at the same point.
I'm also considering saving up some loot and maybe going the alloy way - partially because I really like the look and partially because I don't want to have to paint the damn thing again ;D (that's a good excuse to spent money, right!??).
I have a brother living in the UK (Scotland) who is coming home in december, so if anyone has a source in Europe I'm up for that route as well (Ms. Alliekat perhaps ?
