Inverted clutch and brake levers

if they are cable pull you can pick some up from a bicycle shop... wont be as strong though...

also, from experience... these levers have a horrible feel to them... you have to grab rather than squeeze... hurts your hand, and imho take a bit more control away than id like.

i have only used one on a jockey shift bike... never as a main lever, but on mine the feed went though the tubes ( bar)

never use them for the clutch and brakes on the bars, only on custom applications. i could not really see using them and being able to shift fast with them on the bars, on a jockey shift it was easier to use the inverted to get your hand around the clutch from the top, but i would never use them on reg bar set ups

how hard are they to install?

Thanks

easy, but ive done it at least 20 times now. its not hard at all. drilling the bars might be a pita though.

you have installed inverted levers 20 times?! i own a custom shop and have only done 1 in my life on a custom build at that... where do you buy yours? bicycle levers do not work as alot of people assume or are told they do not hold up for much more than a week.

I rode an old BMW boxxer with reversed levers and as long as you have a better grip than a six year old girl you're probably fine. However....as Joe says...they aren't all that handy (sorry... ::) ) for performance applications. I absolutely love them on a bobber or board tracker though.....

yerp, 20 times or so on bicycles. Triatholon bikes use them on the aero bars, and besides that some people like em on custom cruisers.

id say 10 of them were tri bikes, 5 of them were customs, and the other 5 were on this line of cruiser that comes with em uninstalled.
