motorcycle lift/jack On Sale at canadian tire 1/2 price

Princess Auto has a nicer one for $90 (at least it was) - it comes with four 'hands' that can be moved around and extended to meet the frame of your bike so if you have say an oil pan or something that hangs below the frame you're still in good shape.

I'm still debating the value of these sorts of jacks frankly. PA also sells a manual scissor type jack meant specifically for motorcycles that has 2 hands to grab the frame. Meant to support the bike when you take the front end off etc. $48 for that. Might be what I buy as I've removed the centre stand on the 650. Of course I could also screw a bunch of 2x4's together in the right shape to slip under the frame.

yeah, i can already tell the bars are too far apart to fit nicely, but easy enough to correct with a couple little blocks of wood. but it does have decent hooks for tie-downs to attach to and it's sure easy to wheel around.
besides, it's cheap enough to frig around with anyway, and sure easy to hide in the corner of the garage when not in use.

I've got the same motorcycle lift from Canadian Tire. The jack has leaked the oil out all over my garage floor >:(. Can you fill those jacks back up? Other than the lack of oil and not being able to use the jack, its worked pretty good.

Mike
