Need help identifying this Honda front end!

G'day guys,

Just trying to move on some parts to help fund the rest of my build. This front end was grafted (poorly) to my CB250RS when I picked it up. Having trouble working out where it has come from so I can advertise it. Only thing I'm working on (assuming) is that it's a Honda front end?

Any help would be great!

It's got a stop on fork leg for a drum brake and leading axle so long travel off road fork.
What are tube diameters?
How wide between mounts?
Any names or numbers on top and bottom yokes? (inside between webs

PJ,

It was fitted with what appeared to be a CT110 front wheel and brake and knobby tires, however the brake didn't match up with these forks.
Tube diameters are 31.9mm and about 175mm spacing between centres. Could not find any identifying numbers or marks on the yokes.

Thanks for your help!

Chris B.

31.9 is a pretty odd size, Kawasaki tend to do stuff like that.
Probably a 'kids' 60 or 80cc MX bike?
Front wheel could be correct, they came in 17, 19 and 21" from most manufacturers, depending on race class and 'kid' size
You'll have to do some searching around vintage (?) MX
What is overall length?
That should give an idea of year

Length is about 830mm at full extension. Funny you mention Kawasaki, it struck me as similar to a lot of kawasaki front ends I've seen.

Thanks again PJ.

thay are 32mm off a lil 1983 ts185 suzi or the sort, nobody makes a "31.9mm" they may measure a rch under 32 but they are considered 32
honda would be 31 or 33 never used 32
did you zero your calipers?
they are not mx forks because of the steel lower clamp
and too many exctra mounts and junk for mx forks
