Smaller master cylinder for CB350 - is one available?

Coast to Coast
Hi everyone,
Am slowly reassembling the CB350 front end for the baby tracker and wondered if anyone has used a smaller front master cylinder on their build? Before I rebuild the existing master, is there something else out there?
Thanks,
Pat.

do you mean physically smaller unit or smaller cylinder bore?

if its the first, then there should be loads of MX ones that have smaller fluid reservoirs but same/larger size cylinder bore, or late model sports bike ones with seperate fluid cup (which can be replaced with mini alloy ones in loads of different colours from ebay) beware however the really cheap complete master cylinders (brembo copies sort of) on ebay, they are cheap for a reason..........

if the second reason, why?????, but same sort of sources, just think much smaller, like minibikes and pit bikes would, i suppose, have teeny weeny little m/cylinder sizes, obviously your braking performance will be affected and probably not for the better

hope this helps

Me bad,
Looking for a master cylinder that is physically smaller but same bore (more or less) - the stocker looks too big on the handlebars.

FYIW... Most dirt bike mc's are 11mm. You can find 12.7mm ones on some street bikes. Stock on most CB's is 14mm. I have tried nearly everything on my cb400f. Smaller gives better feel, more travel but it easier to modulate and bites harder. I would try a dirt bike mc if you want small. 12.7mm IMO is a better size.
