Tach leak

Okay, so I have a leak at the tachometer cable and engine interface. I've put 10 different sized O-rings in there, but I'm getting the same results. Is there some kind of additional washer or something that I need to buy? Point me in the right direction. Thanks guys.

There's an oil seal and a thrust washer at the outside end.
There's a pinion washer on the inside end.

No, the pinion washer is at the far end of the tach gear. Only the thrust washer and o-ring are on the closer-to-out side.

Lemme find part number, sec.

Okay, I think I understand what your saying. I don't remember all these pieces falling out when I took the old cable off. Typical.

Do you have a manual? the washers and o ring I'm talking about aren't on the cable. They are on the gear spline that drives the cable.

Lemme see if I can find you a picture...

Actually, go look at an exploded view on bike bandit or something.

So, 16, 17, and 19 in this picture
