Is this anything like the Safety Breaker MC that was flogged in motorcycle magazines back in the '70's?
I have one in a parts bin down in the store room; got it with a bunch of old parts but never gave it much thought 'til now.
If (fuzzy) memory serves me well enough, one of the "name" people in their ads was a racer by the name of Kenny Roberts...
