Tee Shirts

these guys are in Toronto http://www.arrrg.ca/index.php anybody bought there? is the shirt quality any good? I love the Elvis one, but can't buy cheap tee's. thanks

Never seen them before - I like the Yohoho Yamaha shirt. Shoot them an email and ask a) what brand of shirt they use and b) how they print. I'm curious too.

yeah, I did send them an email. clicking on the email link said it didn't exist. it did go out when I copy pasted.
I'll post the response when I get it. the only thing the site says about quality is "shirts that don't suck"

Hi, I love the designs. As you know, t shirt quality can vary widely. I need to get an idea of the quality of the shirts (not the graphics) you offer before buying, as I wear t's pretty much all the time. To be honest, I have purchased a few (not from you) "we only use the best quality shirts" in the past, only to find they were far from the "best". I'm not looking for perfection here, just a genuinely high quality cotton shirt. I may have to buy just one first, to see first hand. There are 4 for sure that I want.
And... are Canadian sizes closer to US sizes, or UK/Euro sizes? And, are they all black?

Hi David,

It is difficult to get an impression of the quality without handling them yourself, I agree. Currently the shirts are all Hanes™ Heavyweight tees, if that helps to reassure you. In the future however I will be changing over to a local manufacturer (Jerico Sprotswear) whose shirts are of similar quality.
The sizes are US standard. The shirts are 100% preshrunk cotton, so there should be no worry about shrinkage either. And yes, they are all black.

Hanes Heavyweights should be fine. I like American Apparel myself for the fit, but for quality, Hanes should be fine. Might order one up myself.

I got my shirts. The transfers are smaller than expected but thats ok. I prefer it. I'm glad they weren't too big. Shirt quality is maybe a tad better than I expected though maybe a tad cheesier than I'd like. Hanes label says 'Heavyweight', I'd hate to see lightweights. I wish you could buy grades of teeshirt and just pay more for good quality. Size wise, maybe they do run true 'American' size and I'm just out of touch, but they seem a bit small to me. His XL is closer to what I think of as L, than XL. If you like the artwork he does (I do) I wouldn't pass it up for the C+ grade I give for shirt quality. They are definitly not 'novelty' shirts and better than many I've seen. Maybe I expect too much.
So, glad I got the ones I got. Most likely won't get the others I wanted. :-\
