throttle advice

Hello,
I'm looking for advice for a new throttle for my GS650GL. I'm not using the OEM switch pods, which the Suzuki throttle is integrated into the right-side switch pod. This leave me needing a throttle assembly that will work well with my 4-carb bike. I've searched eBay and found many, many options but not sure what will/wont work for my application. My experience with motorcycle throttles is that they are generally pretty universal, but I want to be sure that whatever I get for it will work ok. I've found some nice Tommaselli units, and I really like the old Magura trapdoor style.
Advice, suggestions?? Thanks!

that may make your grip twisting to stiff how ,much cable travel from idle to wot does your setup have ?
i have a bunch of throttles including the trap door

That is my concern xb33bsa. I can try to figure out how much the cable moves, but off the cuff I'm going to guess it's about an inch. It's a single cable system acting on a single carb to open all 4 butterflies. thanks for the help.
