Nebr_Rex thank you for explaining that so thoroughly

Your welcome. I've owned one CB750, the rest have been KZs and a ZRX. I still
have most of them including my first bike, a KZ650 sr.

.

Hey guys so here's a couple updated pics nothing special but I replaced all the rings per the manual and about to put the block back on quick question though can I just buy a honing tool on amazon or have them professionally honed there is no scratches or anything on the inside of the cylinders
let me know thank you always

You can buy an honing tool and do it yourself, but it's not a procedure I'd recommend to someone who is new.

Those sleeves have a large chamfer....you don't really need tools except to hold #2/3 pistons to prevent rocking as you drop the cylinder on and some popsicle sticks to compress the rings. You can use pieces of wood under the pistons to stabilize them.

Yup. A few sections of 2"x2" under the pistons to keep them all level usually does the trick.
