Tuneing VM30s on CB350

I just put a set of Makuni VM30 carbs on my CB350 and have not found a good way to tune them. Since all of the adjustment points are on the left the right carb is quite difficult to adjust. Does anyone have any trick to these carbs?

I would figure with those guys extensive experience they would be more help.
I even saw them on TV!
