Using 16" front wheel on SR250

I'm looking for help with changing up the front wheel of my SR250 from 18" to 16" with an enduro tire.

Is it possible to use a spare 16" rear from the SR250 and move it up front with a fitting drum assembly?

Or what alternate wheel is out there that I can use?

My thoughts are to fit a 130/80/16 enduro tire on the front and back, would this be possible with available front tread tires on the market?

You do realize the look you want will destroy the handling characteristics of the bike. If you read the thread you posted you will see the builder so much as admitted that.

I doubt you'd find any front specific tyres in that size, so you'd have to run rear tyres front and rear. Not a big problem, but the sizes as marc has said will screw the handling / cornering. And it probably wouldn't just be a straight bolt up affair either - you'd be up for a bit of custom work to get that size rear wheel in the front end.

I think there was a guy on here some time back that was selling adapter kits for that Virago wheel swap.
