WTB: 1968/69 CL/CB175 cylinder head

Looking for a decent cylinder head (twin carb) for a 1968/69 CL175 (same as the CB, but not the CD) - sloper engine.

Not sure if it attached...but it's #3 in the attached picture.

If you have one, please let me know.

Any 175 head will fit if it's for a cafe racer or resto mod or road racer. The sloper head is OK but ports on a vertical 175 are better and with a different manifold or some machining, they fit right in - carbs end up higher that stock though.

Actually, the CD175 is a single carb and the CB/CL is a dual carb. So the head is different.

And I'm pretty sure the late 69 or 70 and on CB/CL (cradle frame vs. sloper frame) head and valve cover are different as the frame mounts are different.

Single carbs were in fact made. Correct. And yes there are many differences between sloper and vertical motors and that's where we come down to teh question of is it for a restoration where you need a square 69 sloper head or is it for a custom, in which case you could use a later 175 head with your early top cover.

Vert 175 head has different exhausts and different carbs and intake manifolds so it's not totally plug and play. It all depends on what you want to put it on.
