yoshimura hydraulic rear sets for 72 cb350

Hello all, iam new to the forum, i recently bought a 72 cb350 and i re-wired the bike and got it started yesterday, and when i attempted to rolled it out of my parking spot the rear wheel was locked up like it was in gear, i had to pull on the drum brake lever in the opposite direction until the back break disengaged


has anyone had these rearsets on their bike ? and if so, have you had any issue with the brake? im not sure how the brake returns to the original position after its been pressed

Wow. That is an unnecessarily complicated set up. You probobly have water in the sytem. Flush and clean everything. Replace the fluid and bleed the system. Should fix it. Unless the return springs INSIDE the drum are bad (unlikely but possible). Again, pull it apart and clean everything really well. Grease the shoes pivot points and so on. Its all detailed in your manual (if you don't have one, get one asap).

Understatement of the week. That is a seriously convoluted, clunky and just downright ugly brake setup.
