Like that a lot...and it looks much like the inspiration bike. Gonna really thin the hoop profile and really improve the looks of the bike in general once a seat is on.
Started framing out the seat. I made it straight, because I haven't decided if I want to incorporate the side panels as one unit. Or to make the side panels bolt to the seat. For now a straight line seems easier to work with.
I wouldn't take the side covers all the way down to the bottom tip of the triangle as in your sketch. I think maybe 4 inches of side cover, incorporated into the sides of the seat would look tits. Again, slightly rounded like the lines on the leading edge of the tank. Just throwin out ideas
Started forming the side covers. It's just hands and hammers, so I'm working from a template/mold I routed out of high density overlay. HDO is a very hard, dense smooth surface plywood often used for concrete formers.
Working on the side show... I still have some planishing left, but the right cover is coming together. I'm waiting on the exhaust to arrive to see how it all fits, but I hope to route the exhaust through the frame and bring the cover in.
Sent from my iPhone using six Yuengling and a bag of soggy fries.
Put on some new shoes and mostly finished the side covers. I promised Brad no filler, so there's still work to be done. Anyone wanna bring an e-wheel from Frostburg, MD to Augusta, GA?
