Yamaha running gear on a GT750?.....What were you thinking??....

Just kidding - looks schweet ;D

ha ha yeah seems kinda silly, but it all fit so well, and i got a good deal on the parts so we do what we can with what we find

not too sure about any serious engine work right now, we changed the ignition, did some carb work, and some different pipes but thats all so far, but with 3 other gt motors around we have been talking abotu doing a build on one and see what we can make it do

well i think i got 4 out of the whole deal, i was bidding on just a motor on ebay that ended up going for over 250 so i got out of that auction, then a day later i found a lot of 3 on ebay buy it now for around 350, so we drove 8 hours to get them, and the guy threw in a heap of a fourth just to get rid of it

This is a really cool build! Thanks for sharing this with us! 8) 8)

I have the same running gear on my Kawi H2 Triple! I can hardly wait to see how it works on my machine and how you make it work on yours! 8) 8)

Here's the FZ600 running gear mocked up on the H2 frame.

I think it's a great plan to hang on to the other GT engines! You should take one and build it into a MONSTER!! :D

I've got a "spare" H2 engine too! ;)

Any hoo, keep postin'! ;D

ha ha something happed but not to us, although if sharperdrill had said that when i thought he did i think we would be in a shallow grave out in BFE kansas

more progress today, it goes in spurts, due to time and money...and direction

worked on the "rear sets" we concidered some aftermarket bolt ons for a minute, but we used the location of the passanger peg mounts which fits me perfect, its a small bike with a long tank so the rider sits back further, added some holes to shave weight, but i think we added some in the end, but it still looks good

Just out of curiosity what tire set-up are you running on your H2? (Make and model of the tire and size.)

A little more progress, the rims got completely blasted, and one painted, i used Duplicolor high-temp ceramic spray paint, with a little wet sanding they should come out pretty nice i hope
