will a exhaust and headers off a dohc cb750 fit onto a sohc cb750?

i had the engine idling as i was doing this as it says in the factory service manual. would that of cause any damage to the engine?

as i was attempting to adjust the cam chain tension on my 1980 cb750 custom i managed to destroy the threads on the front adjusting bolt near the headers. the nearest machine shop is about 4 miles. can i just have them re tap the threads on the bolt hole and put in a new bolt? would i cause any...

hello i have a 1980 cb750, did new plugs on it and i have a mac 4-1 exhaust. under moderate/heavy acceleration the bike will "pop" multiple times and the acceleration will break up about 3-4 times when i pull it through a gear. i hear this a symptom of the bike leaning out but i didnt think just...
