Hey everyone I started building my cl360 cafe a while back and I have been running into some issues with my final stretch of getting it back up and running. I would really appreciate it if someone would be willing to give up a little bit of their time to come talk to a fellow enthusiast who is...
I had some incredible luck on craigslist today! I found a guy who was trying to get rid of this streetfighter/enduro style headlight for free so I went and got it from him. I'm not totally sure how I feel about it but I think with a set of clip on bars and the front fender on it will look...
Here are just a few more pics with the black wheels. Its also got a makeshift wooden seatpan I made just to set my seat on in the meantime but if anyone has some suggestions on how to make a better one that would be helpful. Id like to do it all myself but keep in mind I don't own a welder...
Here is a picture of how the seat came out. I also painted the wheels flat black to match the look of the bike. I took a blow torch to the exhaust tips to give them the burnt tip look. I cut them down a bit too to make them look a bit nicer. I can't wait to heat wrap them tho!
So recently I have only been able to do a few small things on the bike while I get some more funds. I trimmed up the seat I had using a rotozip and im pretty happy with the turn out. I also started to paint some more portions of the bike.
Thanks man! I dented it myself and I attempted to smooth it out with some bondo. With that said, it was my first time doing bodywork so it didn't exactly come out pretty. I like the way it looks anyway though. It has more of a handmade custom feel to it I think.
Thanks for the advice. I had seen other people had set their forks higher in their triple clamps and ran a clip on bar setup. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. I think I will put them back in the factory location and run some clubman bars instead because I can't afford clip ons at the moment!
Hey everyone my name is Brandon. I am totally new to building motorcycles. I modified cars for a little while and so I am just trying to transfer some of my knowledge over from that. Anyways, I picked up a 1975 Cl360 not long ago. It has been my new money pit since. Aside from that, I live...
Hey everyone so one of my other projects is my colt .22 m4. I don't know how many other gun aficionados there are on here, but I figured I would post a pic or two!
Btw if any of you care to see my old projects feel free to check these pics out. The bottom one is my old Cr85 and the top ones are from my 99 Civic Coupe.
I got the wheels back on for the most part. I need to toy with the front wheel to get the bracket to line up correctly and then it should be good. These pictures are how the bike currently sits. I know I was a bit late on making a thread but better late than never I suppose. I would like to...
Next up was prepping the frame for paint and getting ready for the motor to be reinstalled. Once again, I used primer and flat black spray paint which I think turned out well.
Here are a couple more pics of the end result. By the way, please forgive me I do realize the cover above the spark plug is on upside down in the pics. It has since been installed correctly. :P
