im so glad you posted this, ive been wanting to build a similar bike and to my very surprise ive been thinking of using the same engine after staring at the one on the lift we are replacing the fork seals on for a customer...now i have to do it!

its worth a shot to take it down to ace hardware or the likes and look for a stainless one...i used to work there and would find odds and ends like that for my chopper...worth a shot
