    swing arm spec's

Hey guys. I am considering buying a 1982 GS 650 for about 100.00. My plan is to drop in a mid 70's CB 550-4 motor. GS motor is seized. I want chain drive, and basically, it is the complete bike. What swing-arm (single or double sided) will fit in this frame? I do not know the measurements of the...

    TANK KNEE PADS?

LOL! that is awesome! I actually thought of that. I did find some at the local Triumph dealer, plain, no logo. Found some online too, plain. I just want them a bit bigger, length and height. The CB900 Custom "dents" are a bit bigger than the area for the old triumphs and nortons. I just dont...

    TANK KNEE PADS?

I want to put some knee pads on my CB900 Custom. I want the old school tear drop type. I remember seeing "magnetic" pads for the side of the gas tank, but I cannot locate them anymore. I would prefer them over the ones that use an adhesive. Anyone know about these?

CB900 Custom and Directional signals wiring help.....Front WON'T flash......

UPDATE......I got them working properly. Apparently, the bike can be set up for flasher AND running lights together. The aftermarket has 2 wires Yellow and Black, these are flasher only.....although, I did originally connect them and had both. However, because they were on for some time, they...

    CB900 Custom fuel petcock rebuilding.......

Well, they told me it couldn't be done.....rebuilding the leaking fuel petcock. YOu see, this particular petcock is riveted together. You can only replace the 1980 to 1982 CB900 custom petcock. HA! I beg to differ......I came across this site in my desperation to rebuild my petcock. I refused to...

    1982 Honda CB900 Custom Cafe

Well, I haven't posted in a while. But, I have been working on the bike. I picked up a few pieces from a 1983 GS650. I am using the headlight bucket, front brake, clutch, and light switch (as it gives me the option for on/off headlight). I am also "re-shaping" a 30 year old Corbin "Atomic Foam"...
