Very funny Timothy. Yeah I want it real bad. The college budget is a hard one to incoporate multiple bikes into, but if I could flip it and make some money all would be well. I'll keep ya'll, you all, y'uns posted on the purchase.

Not sure if he has the title. I saw him start it. It idled pretty well. He said one of the carb diaphrams was leaking a little bit. The only thing i was concerened about was the tank rust. It was very well coated. If i get him down to 1500 ill go for it.

What would you pay? R75 BMW

I was looking at a vintage R75 BMW today. Not sure of the year. The bike ran and all the parts were there. Seat was in good shape. Tank interior was in bad shape. The guy wanted 1800 for it. What would you guys pay?

Got bike started: Now High Idle and Popping

Hey guys just kicked my bike for the first time in a year and it started, thats good news. The bad news is my idle is really high and kind of surges initially, and the engine pops a little bit. The right had exhaust gets very hot, while the other side doesn't as well. I haven't really dug into...

    No Spark For Plugs

I've begun reassembling my bike after painting polishing and caffeinating. The electrical system is what I'm currently addressing, and my problem is that I'm getting no spark from either plug. I've got all the connections right, as far as the ignition system goes, the breakers points and timing...

Rebuilt Engine, Now Crank wont fully rotate

Just got done fixing it. The problem was it was off TDC right by a millimeter or so, so that when the cylinder was plateauing it was running into the exhaust valve which was just barley starting to open. Anyways I corrected the problem. Oh, and in order to verify that it was in fact TDC i just...

Rebuilt Engine, Now Crank wont fully rotate

Yeah that could be it. According to the manual if you align the "T" to the timing mark on the engine for the right cylinder this is TDC, if thats not actually TDC then I'm screwed. I'm gonna go mess around with it and see what I can come up with.

Rebuilt Engine, Now Crank wont fully rotate

I guess I could have miscounted which would be throwing the timing off, but I counted it several times and it was correct everytime. It has nothing to do with the clutch being depressed though does it?

Rebuilt Engine, Now Crank wont fully rotate

Hey guys, this is my first post here, seems like a cool board with a lot of great people. I replaced the head gasket on my GS425 recently and re-assembled the engine according to the manual. Unfortunately when trying to turn the bike over with the crank it only makes one full rotation and then...
