    Reintroduction

A few years back I purchased a 72 CB350 with the intention of turning it into a cafe racer. The guy from Ohio Cafe Racers got it running for me and then the engine promptly blew up. It was NOT the fault of Ohio Cafe Racers, so I want to make sure everyone understands that right off of the bat...

Playmaster Pool Table for Motorcycle (Pickerington, OH)

Looking to trade a Playmaster pool table for a running motorcycle. My preference is a Honda CB350/CB750 or something similar. The pool table value is about $600-$700. Looking to get another bike and the pool table swap is my only chance. Email me at Gvalentino@prodigy.net for pictures or more...

    Back after being away

I hope I get a chance to post it soon. So far, no luck in finding a good replacement, but I'm sure my patience will be rewarded at some point.

    Back after being away

Well, I'm back in the market for a bike after being too sick to ride for awhile. My last CB350 blew up and couldn't be saved. In about two weeks, I will be in the market for a replacement. I only have one prerequisite, I need a bike with a workable starter. Back problems and other medical issues...

    Welcome to Ohio

You aren't the only person who gave that as the probable cause. If I get lucky I win money somewhere I'm getting another one.

    Welcome to Ohio

No idea. Greg from Ohio Cafe Racer's checked it for me and everything seemed to be fine. Then about two weeks later it started making a ticking sounds an blew up by the end of that ride. The bike hadn't run for years so I'm guessing that contributed to it. Greg did his diligence with it, my...

    Welcome to Ohio

My CB350 blew up so unless something amazing happens, like someone gives me $1500 to buy another one, I'm grounded. Pisser.

I asked for pictures if possible.

    Death of a CB350

I honestly have no idea why the CB350 blew up. Greg from OhioCafeRacers.com checked the bike over and said it was pretty sound for its age. The problem is I wasn't there so I don't know what happened. But, despite what I felt might have been a shot at my integrity it isn't quite a story - it's...

    Death of a CB350

He said his father has one that looks just like it and bought it new. So, yep he really wanted one. Man, I still can't help but feel guilty.

    Death of a CB350

Not quite. We were considering the trade when we decided to exchange the bikes to see if I could get the Kawi running. The other guy decided to take the CB up to Michigan for the weekend. Nothing was set in stone yet and the CB blew up. There was no reason to think it would happen. It was also...

    Death of a CB350

My 71 CB350 was on its way to Michigan this last weekend when the engine decided it was going to grenade. It basically blew up in the case and left most of its parts on the highway. I wasn't riding the bike at the time and the person who was gave me a 1985 Kawasaki ZX900 that needs some work but...

71 CB350 Hard to start dies at stoplights

Greg from Ohiocaferacers redid the carbs, set the timing etc, etc when he had the bike not that long ago. He is pretty well known in the CB350 community for being a good person to go to for this stuff. I might be overstating the problem some. The bike doesn't die at every stop light or even...

84 Honda Shawdow with a charging problem, $800 Columbus, OH

http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/368796572.html This isn't really the type of bike that is popular on this board but it struck me as a pretty good deal. The bike is in good shape and the only problem is has is that it won't charge the battery. Once I learn a little more about what that...

71 CB350 Hard to start dies at stoplights

One more question on the gas/carb issue. What is the standard diameter for the line running from the petcock to the carb? I changed it out when I got the bike and don't remember what the original size was - I do know what I ended up with seemed awful small.
