Reintroduction

CB350

Been Around the Block
A few years back I purchased a 72 CB350 with the intention of turning it into a cafe racer. The guy from Ohio Cafe Racers got it running for me and then the engine promptly blew up. It was NOT the fault of Ohio Cafe Racers, so I want to make sure everyone understands that right off of the bat.

Anyway, fast forward to January 13 2012 during one of the ice storms when a drunk hit me and left my beloved Jeep a wreck. When the insurance money came in, I bought a 98 Ford Mustang to turn into a projet car because my 8 year old son thinks Mustangs are the greatest cars ever.

Not long after picking up the 98, a series of wonderful events left a running 1968 Mustang in my garage for FREE.

So, I traded the 98 for a 2006 Kawasaki ZX6R and cash which also allowed me to purchased a heavily customized 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000.

The 78 isn't quite a cafe racer - yet. It has the right paint job, the right attitude but needs different handlebars and maybe a different seat. The KZ is also a big bike and some question whether a bike that size can ever truly fit the cafe racer style. Regardless, I am going to try and turn it into one.
It is GREAT to be back – whether you guys want me or not. :D
