Yeah I took the pictures with my phone. Most all of the trucks made in this scale are handmade. But there aren't many overall. In germany the do table top trials and those trucks are 1/87 scale. But it just isn't popular here as much i guess do to the work and everything that goes into making...
I build these 1/64th scale trucks as a hobbie and have recently considered building them as kits and selling them. I have saved up a good bit and have the money for the initial start up for everything.
Anyone else on here started a small business? What are some pointers for the initial start up?
Got some mounting tabs in today and set about trying to mount the engine. The only problem is the engine sets off to the left about 3/4 off center. It has to sit this way so the chain wont rub on the frame when i get that all mounted. How much will this affect the handling of the bike

Re: 2003 XR100
Got the motor in today. Tore down the bike and set the motors side by side doesn't look like it will fit. My girlfriend decided it will be hers now haha.
Re: 2003 XR100
Back in dirt bike form waiting for the big motor. I also have some kz440 forks coming too. Is the a way to use stock parts to put dual disks with that front end? It has caliper mounts on both tubes.
I have a complete engine coming in the mail. What should i look for on the tear down? Any things to be sure to check or replace? I know these xr motors have a great reputation as being reliable and stump pullers. Any tips and tricks to get the most out of it? I plan on running it hard as its...
Re: 2003 XR100
Got the xr500 engine on the way. Anyone have any buils with these? I would like to know how these motors run and pull. I know these xr are reliable but how is the power?
Also is it possible to weld to the aluminum fork tubes? Thought maybe i could get the caliper mounts welded on...
Re: 2003 XR100
That is what i was thinking. How would i go about bigger brakes oncthis? I plan on swapping the front forks and upgrading to a disk to help slow down. Do you think the back brake would be worth the hassle to change? Maybe swap the swingarm to get a wider tire too.
