    My Audi

I really like the looks of the Audis and this coming from a guy that loves his 1989 Mercedes 300E(don't tell anyone but I like the looks of most BMW sedans as well ;)) Buddy of mine buys auction/insurance cars and had a black A8 that someone stole the very expensive(Recaro?) seats out of...

72 CB750: Dolores... 5 years later, I'm back to work!

Re: Alex's 72 CB750... This is coming together nicely! If it looks anything like my Hodaka frame it will look great! I can't say enough on how much I love the look of the Duplicolor Black spray on stuff. Plus all I have to do is wash it with mild soap and warm water and it's done,no waxing!

72 CB750: Dolores... 5 years later, I'm back to work!

Re: Alex's 72 CB750... This is coming together nicely! I used this to coat my whole frame on my Hodaka and love the finish. I also used it on my vintage Pamco boat trailer. It gives a textured but smoother finish than most bed liner coatings. http://www.duplicolor.com/products/truckbed.html...

    1974 CB360 - (Properly Named) The Sterilizer (Updated 3/2/10)

Re: 1974 CB360 - (Properly Named) The Sterilizer Looking good! I agree with covering or painting the ugly batteries on bikes without side covers as they look much better that way.

    KH100 Cafe Project

Re: KH100 Cafe Project (On a tight budget) You don't need the rear frame section that long in order to mount a rear fender. My frame is cut off behind the rear shock mounts(please weld a loop to tie it back in to reduce flex)and I'm mounting my fender directly to my seat pan(see pics). Or you...

    Evil Twin CB200..humble beginnings

I have one also that will be a winter project. I'm going for a early/mid 70's racer style for this one as my Hodaka 100 looks more like a 50's-60's style racer so that era is already covered. Quite a few of them now on the boards are getting the cafe/race treatment. I think they are one of the...

    Done...for now - 1973 TX650

Bike looks great, adding rear-sets with those bars? The standard XS tanks look good for a stock tank and goes with the over all Cafe theme better than a lot of stock tanks.

The Tortoise: cb350 -Now with metal flake

Re: My cb350 project Exactly, you want a nice deep burble, not an obnoxious, loud crappy sound. Weld the baffle to the cone so it it can be installed and taken out as one unit. Secure the cone in the back or wherever you want with a bolt/screw etc. and make sure the font of the baffle sits up...

    1975 RD250 Trial By Fire

Going to be a great bike. The RDs are excellent machines. I do hope you stay with the red/white tank, side cover and tail. That was one of the best color schemes for the RDs. Just look at a nice white/red Daytona 400 and you'll see I'm correct. ;)

    my 1980 GSX250

Good luck and remember to keep it as simple and straight forward as possible. While rear brakes are not as critical as the fronts when you need them you need them to function flawlessly. Some people try to out think themselves and come up with some really suspect shifting and braking...

    New to us 350

Nice, all there it looks like. Putting high pipes on it or keeping the 2 into 1?

    my 1980 GSX250

I see the rear rm support you are talking about and you would lose it if you cut it off,so I would just shorten the rear loop a whole bunch so they don't look so gaudy and use them as your rear set mounts. Shorten it to where they are equal on both sides and the reach to the shifter is correct...

Hi Everyone. Just finished up my 350F cafe.

Hey Brad,I went to the show, but didn't know who you were? Voted for your bike though, hope you won! Everyone should really see it in person to appreciate the work that was put into it. The person that did your seat did a fantastic job,one of the best custom seat jobs I've ever seen on a bike...
