Hi Everyone. Just finished up my 350F cafe.

Dam. Thats the only weekend of the summer i have planned to have a party with friends at our cottage up in Muskoka. Its not ironed out yet though, if it falls through, i am goin to this forsure

Owned,your bike is absolutely stunning!
You should think about bringing it down and putting it on display at the Walneck's Martinsville,In. swap meet/show. I believe it's on July 12th.

Yes 7/12/2009,here's the link
http://www.walneckswap.com/custompage.asp?pg=events

I'd love to see the bike in person and take a few photos of it and talk to you about the work done and people you used to finish it.
I'm finishing up my Hodaka Ace build and will start on a Honda CB200T build later this fall/winter. The Hodaka will be a track day/parade/display bike and the Honda will be a parade/display bike. Nothing fancy, just very simple and clean.

Sure. I'm in. I'll bring it to the show. See you there.

See you there then. I don't know if I'll ride, most likely I'll drive up. Last time I rode up I bought some Hodaka parts and could not take all of them with me! :(

I was there last year and drove,I bought some KZ650 parts for a friend,if I had rode I couldn't have transported them. Love riding to event's,but I ALWAYS find something I want or need for a project!

For the fall event I may set up a booth as I have quite a few old dirt bike parts I need to sell. That is unless I sell most of them on ebay by then. I hate to go to the swap meet, have to hang at a booth all day,not get to walk around and see all the other stuff/bikes.

I'd also like to see more and more Cafe and or Road racing bikes displayed at the event. They are my favorite bikes to gawk at and are really under represented at the event. I hope to up that by a couple when I get mine finished up. I absolutely love the vintage road racers and modified,two-stroke street bikes!

The best for me though is the two-stroke road racing machines. It just seems that is what they were meant to be and meant to do! They need to be unleashed from all that emissions this, road legal that crap and be allowed to shine!

There's a guy that has two beautiful RDs and I hope he brings them to the meet this year. He has a yellow RD350 I believe that looks awesome!

Hey I was looking at some of the pics and was just wondering what you foot pegs are. They look kind of like the stock foot pegs with the rubber removed. Is this correct, or are they something else?

The pegs are aftermarket CB600/900rr replacements. To use, a simple modification to the stock carrier is needed. Basically, add a piece of metal to the outer edge providing a stop. For a return spring, I used the factory CB900rr item and simply bent the end where it hits the carier. I'll post a picture of this later today if you'd like.

Yea some upclose pics of those pegs would be great, thanks!

Here's a close in shot of the pegs. Notice all that's added to the carrier is just a simple stop.

You may use the stock cb350f pivot pin, just add a couple of washers to shim as needed.

Fantastic job on the bike!!! Hey im rebuilding a 350 four too and im interested in your engine work. Did you rebuild your self? Did you install CDI ignition system? My bike is in the same start state as your's. And im finding it very hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It is rebuilds like your bike that keep me motivated. Anyway Cool looking bike mate. The New Zealand roads I ride on would love it. Cheers

Wow, definitely the nicest CB350Four I've ever seen. It's funny, normally I don't even like frames that aren't either nickel plated, silver or black, because they often appear kind of garish, but yours just works. Very classy HOT looking bike, you did one hell of a job. Props indeed!

Hey Brad,I went to the show, but didn't know who you were? Voted for your bike though, hope you won!
Everyone should really see it in person to appreciate the work that was put into it.

The person that did your seat did a fantastic job,one of the best custom seat jobs I've ever seen on a bike.

That Jack Daniels Chopper has the same frame my project Harley has,but mine is a rubber mount engine,so it's quite a bit more complicated in how I have to mount it.

Don't know if you took any pics of that blue BSA Gold Star racer, but it was really something to look at. All the components on it was all nearly all period correct which must have took some doing and quite a bit of money.

I'll post pics of it later this week.

I'd like to bring up my Hodaka Ace to the next show there in September and display it,if I can have it ready by then!

I was trying to hang out near the bike, but ended up chatting to a bunch of people. Your vote didn't go to waste! I took home the best Cafe Racer trophy!

Here are pics of that awesome BSA:

Sick sick cafe!

what kind of exhaust is that? Did you have to rejet for the pods and pipe?

Thanks. The exhaust is from MC Engineering. Yes on the rejets. Clip position 2, 85 mains, stock slow jets. Pods on these bikes are finicky.

Hi there Owned,

Absolutley stunning bike ;D
Have you got an email address for Mc Engineering, and were the pipes a one off, or an off the shelf item???? I have 350/4 down pipes off my 400/4, but the cans were shot, so i'm looking for some cans!!!!

You're not going to like my answer....I picked up this exhaust basically new on eBay. A guy had MIVV's on order and they were taking too long to come in. He put these on his bike and the MIVV's arrived a couple of wks later. I was not able to get any information at all on the manufacturer. There are no markings on the exhaust either. If I run across anything at all, I'll send you a PM.

Looking through eBay now, someone has a nice set of original 4-4's in decent shape...may be worth checking out.

Many thanks

Just my luck! Not really keen on the standard cans, i prefer short reverse cone meggas really, but can't find any with a small enough ID to fit the 350 downpipes??? Just thought yours were a nice look (MUCH NICER THAN THE STANDARD CANS). Sorry for shouting ::)
