the black wire in the cb360 switch housing for the (head low and high / turn signal) is your power line. So you need a soldering gun, learn how to solder on youtube or whatever. Tap into that black power line and feed 12v to the blue (high beam) and white (low beam) they are already grounded so...

Most likely synchronization, because it is a subtle adjustment. A clogged pilot and it probably wouldn't be running very good at all. You could try bench syncing with a piece of wire or something similar. Only expose your first pilot jet and a small and equal air passage
I know that dude, the drum seized and I removed the shoes, its also the old dual leading shoe style... thanks though, waiting to rebuild the drum.. grease, polish, new shoes, etc.
