Haha, well... its more UV proof than vinyl was what I was talking about, plastic (nagahyde) V.S. Cow Hyde

Leather is not more UV proof than proper vinyl. I'm not sure who told you that?

i like it, the leather and hand-stitching,just needs a little poofing i figger
 
idk what proper vinyl is but yeah its cow hyde and its really durable. obviously its not skin tight towards the ass section but it is a good seat and it has been ridden on for a while. the price is negotiable and its available for anyone who like it i.e. people who are in the pool of thought that cafe racers are sold out from all the attention and duplication. 619.375.8704
 
i have the motor out right now because the tensioner shredded and the cam chain snapped all four valves bent etc... so im doing a redesign of the bike, stretch swing arm lower rear shocks making a new seat new bars all that shit.
 
i have a reliable source for cam chain tensioners if anybody needs one or cares.

not yet as for betty whites face bobber seat, buut i have the website for the cam chain tensioners. They are from the website CMSNL.com and they are not listed directly as cb360 cam chain tensioners but I found them somehow probably from another forum and I have already gone and taken the tensioner, which is new btw (nos part in honda bag) and fitted it in my motor and it does it perfectly. idk how many are available. it is 87.50 euros shipped from the nederlands and it took four days to get to san diego, ca. in USD its like $115 and change.

That is the "old" tensioner, not the updated one. The hooks are in the wrong direction. The one they don;t have is the correct one for late '75-76 models and those with the 2 punchmarks on the engine case.

That style can break and seize the cam and chain, seizing the motor. that's why it was recalled.

If you have the old mounts, not the improved ones, it will work. It will not work properly with the updated mounts.
 
okay... you are talking about the "cups" that this thing sits in? shaving off .050"~.150" would fix that? I have only heard about the recall. and my old tensioner did exactly what you are talking about, it also was orignal '74 hardware... thanks man, my eye brows are raised.
