Seems like a lot has been covered here on the DCH torch. For what it's worth, I have one and use it exclusively for welding aluminum and cutting steel. I also have a TIG, but using o/a for aluminum is really the best way to weld thinner sheet aluminum. I do the same kind of work as Sean at Roc...

Getting close to finishing my current project. Had been wanting to post, but just so busy and running 5 different ways...haven't had time. Started with a stock cb550 that ran, but poorly. Customer wanted a bike close to my previous build, but with some mild changes. Here is what it looks like...

Here are some nice pics of my bike finished. I suppose technically it's never "done", but all that I may have to do is spruce up some fasteners here and there. She rides really nice and I'm really glad I did the rear wheel conversion. Makes the bike look more appropriate than that rear drum...

Got around to polishing the tank, tail and the engine covers. I think it turned out nice. This is the first polish work I've ever done. The tank didn't come out as mirror-like as I had hoped, but it's really close. Now to find a drop center rear rim to match the front one...then I should be done!

Will do $60 for the pair of mufflers!

Naber11....you still want the gauges? Haven't heard back from you. Gauges still available. Need to clarify that the mufflers are reproductions.

I've got a speedo/tach set with cables for sale if anyone wants them. $60 plus shipping. Also got two new Dunstall mufflers. Never mounted. Have reducers for 1.5" pipes...can fit up to 1.75" pipes. $75 for the pair!! plus shipping.

Re: 3003 Ally For Making Tank? JohnU, I feel you've gotten some good advice here. I just thought I might add or ask a couple more things. It appears you're making this tank for a Motard style bike..for racing? I would think you could get by with .063 aluminum on your bike. For my street bike...

Sorry guys, haven't been on here in a long time. Just been way to busy. Here is the bike as of now: I did make it to the MotoGP and got lots of people wanting to know more about the bike. It is really fun to ride and handles well. Only thing I am thinking about changing is the rear wheel...

Mothgils, I'm way up north. Either way we're still relatively close. We will have to meet up once I get this thing done! Hopefully that's soon. I've got so many other commitments that I can't seem to get long stretches to work on this thing. My goal is to ride it to MotoGP this year...we'll see...

Getting her mocked up for exhaust and rear set fabrication. Looking like she's going in the right direction so far.
