1976 CB550 cafe

hey man, you should know that this build is of the upmost quality. This bike belongs with the likes of Ringo's, Stik's, etc.

Great job, man.

Sorry guys, haven't been on here in a long time. Just been way to busy.

Here is the bike as of now:

I did make it to the MotoGP and got lots of people wanting to know more about the bike. It is really fun to ride and handles well. Only thing I am thinking about changing is the rear wheel and seeing if I can put a bit lighter spring on the rear shock.

Got around to polishing the tank, tail and the engine covers. I think it turned out nice. This is the first polish work I've ever done. The tank didn't come out as mirror-like as I had hoped, but it's really close.
Now to find a drop center rear rim to match the front one...then I should be done!

Here are some nice pics of my bike finished. I suppose technically it's never "done", but all that I may have to do is spruce up some fasteners here and there. She rides really nice and I'm really glad I did the rear wheel conversion. Makes the bike look more appropriate than that rear drum brake in my eyes.
Hope you enjoy.

Great looking Bike

I love the modern influence, what front end did you use? ???

PS: voted for you in the July 2012 Bike of the month, you deserve it!

This thing turned out awsome...love the tank and tail. What mufflers are those? Looking for something similar.
