I am getting a bit annoyed with how loud my cafe CB450 is it currently has 2 emgo reverse shorty megaphones and it could wake the dead, my neighbors hate it, and im starting to hate it too. I like to hear it running but the straight through mufflers are just to damn loud.

you could try using sockets and threaded rod to make a puller. find a socket the same od that will just slip in the swing arm bore then find another socket big enough to pull the race into. threaded rod down the centers, tighten and it should pull it out
I took my cafe, to precision cycle works in Oshawa and didn't have any issues, they were fair and everything went good. Had some other engine work done by them too and they seem like a good shop
I went from a 12ah battery on my 450 to a 7ah and its fine above about 50° below that, it will crank but there's no juice left for spark so you have to kick start it... other than that it works great....
Ok its starting to get cold and im getting antsy, need something new to work on.... except im having a hard time finding something unique and interesting to start with. I've been looking at early virago's but the shaft drive is overly limiting.

ive played with my 450 all summer and been chasing fuelling issues all summer. after alot of trial and error and probably a dozen sets of plugs;

here is how i did it on my 450. I used cbr600f3 rearsets, I added an arm to the brake lever and made a bent stainless rod to connect. If you look through the window on the rear set you can see the linkage partially
I recommend 4 tupper ware bins to separate the parts for the 4 valve assemblies, other than that dont drop the cam chain into the bottom end.
carefully inspect all the cam chain rollers the rubber center sections delaminate from the sprockets or the bushing's
