I am very interested in how well it runs without a gas tank or battery. I would def want a demo before handing over my 250.00.

New member, new project - 73 CB500 Bobber

Welcome! I'm running some hillbilly struts right now and shocks are next on my list too. I remember when i could fit under the hood of my dads '74 Custom 10. Now I don't think that fender well would hold my fat arse now.

    Rubber "grommets" in cooling fins.

I have seen them before and it looks as though my bikes previous owner randomly shoved a few rubber grommets between the cooling fins of my GN400. Does anyone know if there is a legit reason for this or is it all asthetics?

    Boise weather Video

Wonderful! I'll be moving to Boise this spring. The weather in the SouthWest is too fair. Leaves almost no down time to work on anything. What's your excuse for breaking things in the garage when it's sunny and warm/hot 350 days a year.

@T7 Old Country jives really well with rock-a-billy. Consider yourself in the right place. A fan of Hank, Bo-c-phus, and Hank the third (assjack) myself. French

gn 400 single cilinder caferacer project!!

Ala, Nice ride. I'm in the process building a rat from a GN400. I am having trouble locating an aftermarket clamp on air filter like the one on you bike. What are you running on yours? Do you know the make and model number? Thanks, French
