    TriZuki cafe 2012 Tu250

I am in the lehigh valley, I have the power commander on my bike and I still get in the upper 60's mpg but I didn't buy it for fuel economy. I bought this bike new in May and it took me 6 months to complete but I put 3,700 miles on it in that time too.

    TriZuki cafe 2012 Tu250

This was my first knee dent and painting experience. It took like 3 months and after 50 mistakes or so I finally learned how to apply and finish paint.

    "Tri-zuki" tank

The paint falls right off you barely have to touch it, it is call Kleen Strip at Home Depot. Also, I did the entire tank by hand and this is the best compound I have ever used. The picture on the bottle is true, it takes half the labor, 2x the shine and looks so deep.

    "Tri-zuki" tank

This is the series of pictures I took of my faux Triumph tank complete with Triumph badges that now say Suzuki for my 2012tu250. I had to use another TU250 tank because the fuel pump is mounted inside the tank. I used a tank from a 2009 TU250 but my 2012 TU250 cafe is the last picture in the...

    Rearsets 2012 Suzuki Tu250

I just completed adding a rearsets to my bike. I paid about $150 for the parts. I modded a Moto-R Suzuki SV650/1000 rearset kit from Ebay. I used a 82 Suzuki GS650 shift level and bent/cut it for the linkage and the Suzuki Hayabusa shift rod 140mm long. The brake side didn't need any part other...

ABS vs. Fiberglass, Seat Mounting Issues and Suggestions!?

Actually I put a piece of dense foam under the seat pan first(forgot before, it came from a sleeping bag mat 3/8th")then the rubber stoppers which are about 2 3/4" wide on the big side(so it covers a lot of area under the pan, depending on the size of your pan you may want to go with a smaller...

ABS vs. Fiberglass, Seat Mounting Issues and Suggestions!?

This is how I mounted my seat it should work for most bike. No drilling the frame and easy on and off. Seat mounting: I bought ( 8 ) - #11 rubber stoppers(scientific) and I used the 2 white plastic cutting boards from Walmart as a base(2.99 a piece). I drilled four holes in the corners of the...

    It is a 250

I bought these rearsets for a Suzuki SV650 or SV1000 off ebay for under $100 delivered. I think I can make them work on my TU with a just little bit of modification. If they turn out to be rubbish $100 is not too much of a risk...

    It is a 250

Now that I have the bug in my ear, I think I can put some together for around $200. All the pieces are available on ebay but I still have to find one piece(2), aluminum brackets I can use to bolt the rearsets to and then to the frame, shouldn't be too hard to find something suitable. Hopefully...
