I used 2004 R1 rear sets, but fab on the frame was more than i cared for. rear brake is nice tho, because it has a mount for the brake light switch built in. gotta be careful with the kick start tho. i didn't even consider it, as i built them without the engine installed, and its real close...

I'm running Uni's and a 4 into 1, and ended up keeping the 38's due to lack of supply. it does feel a little lean thru that range, but its really not bad. I read somewhere else that if you up your main 3 steps (from 100 to 115, like i did) then you should up your slow jet one step (to 40)...

I have a 76 550 and trying to get those was really tough. It could be that my dealer is the shits, but all the online stuff was sold out too. Now i have two different sets of 38 slow jets for kehien carbs that dont fit my carbs. Make sure they know exactly what they are ordering. filthy...

mine still has plenty of feel, although I'm still running stock lines, which i'm sure sponge out alot.

i'm running a 1999 gixxer master on my cb550. bolted straight on, no worries hakuna mattata. if you want a pic, lemme know.

it doesnt necessarily "need" all that, but I'd like to. I already have a gasket set on the way. worse case senario I'll just replace the rings and hone. but I'd like to at least change out the pins. thanks for the input, I'll post some pics of it at some point and you can let me know what...

I messed with my stock cb550 front brakes for a whole summer, replaced everything and still got no where, still spongy. turns out, there was a pin hole in my MC cap. So i took a zip lock bag and twisted the cap down over it, voila, fixed. my two cents.

my cb550K has made it once. All my mates tell me it shouldnt be possible, so i'm guessing either a really good tail wind, or perhaps a slightly off speedo. as soon as i hit an indicated 160, i backed right off. surprising stable, yet really scary on a bike that old. the whole way up i had...
