    Ducati Pricing

My 2012 696 stopped lighting up at 1 gallon left and is doing it at 1/2 gallon. I just fill up around the 100 mile mark, it's just easier that way. That's two round trips to the office.

    Ducati Pricing

Production numbers for Ducati, about 34,000 per year total. Maintenance costs on a Ducati are what get most of them to sell. For instance, there are very few who are willing to drop the coin for the 15k mile service on a newer Ducati. That includes valve adjustment and timing belt change...

"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

According to several knowledgeable Norton guys, Norton Commandos make terrible choppers. So why do people keep doing this shit to them? http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/mcy/4108132075.html

Two car collision in New Kent/Richmond VA...

I was referring to the guy who ran your uncle off the road as a "moron", not your uncle. You stated that he was rear endee and was the one who was pushed off the road.

He doesn't state if it's a numbers matching bike. Hell, if that actually gets $16k I'll sink a lot more money in my build!

Two car collision in New Kent/Richmond VA...

Ah, Maryland drivers. I have yet to see one driving in Virginia even orbiting the speed limit if the roads weren't clogged up. 64 East in that area is two lanes each way, I used to drive that to and from ODU when I went there. The highway there has a median with trees and there are trees on...

Drink of choice?? What kind? Whiskey? Beer? Scotch? Wine perhaps?

Hard stuff: Jameson for whiskey, Jack Daniels for bourbon, Cuervo for tequila, Captain Morgans for when I'm being cheap. Beers: Guinness or any other good stout, most IPAs. I'm not a lager, pilsner, or lite beer fan. The last bock I had was a triple bock, not sure what that was about, it...

winter bike storage, anyone keep their bikes in the basement?

Ah, got it. I'm wondering about winter here. One year it was above freezing for all but a few days, the next we get snow and ice and crap on the roads for half the winter. If we get any significant snow, I might have to rent out a storage space for a few days. A 10'x10' locker holds four...

British & Euro Motorcycle Swap Meet & Show Pics

IIRC yes, it's stock. The restoration was done by a company in central Virginia. The sign leaning on the rear wheel has the company's name. I misplaced his card :-\
