Thanks for all the tips, I was going to remove the motor this friday (2 days ago) but now I'm sick and the bike is in my parents garage.
I live in Stockholm, Sweden, you know the country that probably have a russian submarine in the
archipelago. :o
The job is going to be done by a skilled welder, mostly wondered about the pre-work - if I had to take down the engine or if you thought they could weld it as is but laying on the side and thoroughly cleaned.

Thought it was enough to just press the cracked part against the block and weld upon that (after thorough cleaning on the outside). Well, better get to work on the bike on friday! Thanks for input!
Hi, just found out a fuuuuun thing bout my oil drain.. it has two "big" cracks..

Do you think it can be repaired by cleaning away all the liquid metal and press it together then welding it together? Will call/visit different welders on friday when I have more spare time on the...

The first pic is when I bought it, since then I have only taken away the old turn lights and installed new ones. As you can see on the garage photo is a "guard" for the oil/gas leakage.
