Bought some foam and went to town carving and shaping. Put the set of clubmans on, but decided that I really don't like the way it looks, I like the drag bars.
Wrapped the foam in some fabric and took off the sausage mufflers. I think this is a cafe-able bike!
So here's the catch. I have myself a 2009 XR1200, but absolutely hate the seat; I'm not a fan of the pointyness and all that plastic. But unfortunately, every seat I can find has the same exact look, so I've finally decided that I'm gonna make my own.

This bike is in such good condition to begin with that I literally am already at the painting stage.
VHT high temp is amazingly smooth and covers well. Helps to clean every metal piece with brake cleaner to ensure a clean surface.
