    Cool Costa Mesa is nice and close. Had the bike for sale a few months ago just to see if there was any interest in it. Got a lot of flakes and tire kickers, so I decided to hold onto it. My first project, so I will prob regret it if I ever do sell it.

    FYI, I know this thread is pretty stale. however regarding the rearsets and kicklever clearance, I have found that if you use and SR500 kick lever it has enough of a kink to clear rearsets and will bolt right up to the XS750 kick start shaft. Just a heads up.

    I pm'd you about the carb jetting. To tell you the truth, I actually had a specialist get me the right jets and I am pretty happy with the performance so far. The guy is on ebay, you tell him your carbs, altitude, modifications and whatever and he sends you the right jets. I rebuilt my carbs...

    looking good. swap out the points igniton for the 78 and later transistorized electronic setup. You'll like it better.

    yeah its all built up and I've ridden it around a bit. Having issues with the DMV getting it registered though. Good luck with your build, if you need any specialized advice, check out www.yamaha-triples.org. That site has helped me tremendously in getting my bike going.
