The XS, and the Sidecar of Death

Re: The Dnepr and the Sidecar of Death Well, I must admit I had to wiki Dnepr. Sounds like you cleaned house with the trade (remind me not to horsetrade with you) and you have the bones of a great project. Keep posting!

    My lil Gem of a 1972 LS2 !!!

Re: My lil Gem of a LS2 !!! Wow, what a beautiful bike. The paint job on the gas tank along with the chrome makes that bike look fantastic. The carbs on these bikes look pretty easy to rebuild, so enjoy the process. You know its gonna be a great ride.

    Luckyramu's Cafe 550f Build

The chrome is rust speckled. So here is my first question: I have a buffer and compounds, but I'm afraid even if I do manage to buff this out, it will re-rust at the first hint of moisture. Can the chrome be buffed out or is it unsalvageable?

    Luckyramu's Cafe 550f Build

What I find strange is someone dropped this in such a way that they scratched to top of the lights (both rights). I think they got the bike inverted to this. That's some stupid shit right there. My guess is whoever managed this got injured.

Greetings from Luckyramu in So Cal

Hello. I just found dtt about a week ago. My normal ride is a stock '08 sportster and I was debating hacking that up or buying a vintage something and hacking it up to make a cafe. My neighbor had a cb550 purchased under scrupulous conditions (no title, only $300). We took it out (school...
