    Agree. If its running good, keep it that way. At the very least you'd need to change the main jets, but there'd still be sputtering on decel. That and all the detabbing and welding a battery box would require you to break her down and paint the frame. If you had less carbs I'd say do it...

    None taken. Already dropped it 2" in the tree, anything else is a bit dangerous unless I lower internally. Maybe sometime down the line, but I'm hoping to get it on the road soon.

    Some progress made....front tire on, fabbed a fiberglass seat pan and stitched a cover, turn signals back on along with other misc electrical and such, rear brake back on...still a lot of work to go but there is now and end in sight.     Inserts were used. The clearance I think will be fine; I've seen worse on some bikes on here.

    Some indoor progress. Managed to putty up a couple small badge leaks and paint the tank. Put some stripe on it as well, a shit ton of clearcoats...let it dry and will wetsand in the morning
