    Another CM400 build

First order of parts came in on Friday. Got the steering bearings and fork clamps installed, along with the forks, clip-ons and headlight brackets. Put the new rear shocks on too, but the spacers that came with them in the kit were the wrong size ID, so I picked up some washers yesterday and...

    Another CM400 build

    '81 cm400 brakes

Does anyone know of an available front caliper upgrade for a cm400, what master cylinder piston size is best? Also what pads and brake shoes are the best option for stopping power? Everything needs to be replaced anyways, may as well make it better. Thanks

    GS850 G - Cafe Racer

I think it looks better without the side covers. However, if you decide to close off the hole, make them out of sheet metal instead of those OEM ones. It would give a much more vintage look.
