    7/8 Bar End Mirror Wont Tighten Up

    you can also hold the expansion piece with some pliers and a rag(loosly so you dont bend it as it expands) prior to putting the mirror in and turn the screw till it expands enough to be a tight press into the bars...then the expansion piece will catch the inside of your bars and start to tighten...

    piston ring compressor

    Not sure it must had a weak spot because it was when I was kicking it over. All of a sudden it got way easier to kick and made the wonderful metal on metal clicking sound. Luckily it didn't chunk off. Got the motor all back together. Putting it back in on Monday and hoping I can get it to fire!!

    Im about to put my CB350 top end back together on sunday (camshaft broke in half!!) so i decided to replace my pistons and rings.. does anyone know a trick to compressing the piston rings without having to get 2 of the tools? Thanks, Mike

    I want to eliminate the stock ignition switch

    i think the diagram for the taillight is actually correct.. it would be a dual stage bulb... 1 lead for the lights on and the second lead for the brake light...just not labeled correctly..

    Shifter arm for custom rear sets ?

    i was fixing my quad one day and realized that the splines matched...it didnt have the bend in it like the stock 350 shift arm just flat...used ebay and got another for like 5 bucks... cut it rounded it and powdered it..good as new! lol

    Sealing the Tank

    por15 also makes a cleaner that may work better then CLR. its called marine clean it was only 8 bucks at car quest. supposed to removed rust well. and once you rinse it all out use a hair dryer or heat gun(as long as no flam vapor is in the tank) to dry it quickly. Mike

    I havent been able to get the KMH-MPH either...but been working on other things.. as for the backlight its wire on all the time with my headlight switch(the bike is handwired)so i figured i would seperate all the different systems. helps when all the lights are off when trying to kick it over...
