So after countless hours trying to get my 350 to run the camshaft broke. so I rebuilt the top end of the motor and now it starts on the first kick 
I think something in the motor was binding it used to be really hard to kick over(previous owner of motor had probably rebuilt it wrong) It kind of sounds a bit rough, I was wondering if anyone can pick up anything in the sound of it running that may indicate problems or a few suggestions of tweaking it...it seems to cut out above 2500-3k rpms and wont get above 20mph in 2nd. I know its running rich since in just 30 minutes the pegs on my rearsets were getting black(straight exhaust with baffles and pod filters) Im running the stock Jetting right now.
